Multi-Slot Bookings
Select several time slots at once and create them as one series that you manage together. This works well for courses, treatment packages, and other services that run over several sessions in a row.

Who can do this
Only the Owner and Admins can turn multi-slot bookings on or off and cancel an entire series.
Turn on multi-slot bookings
Open Booking settings and find the Confirmation section
In the sidebar, click Settings → Booking settings. Scroll to the bottom of the "Confirmation" section and turn on Allow multi-slot bookings 7.
Set the max slots, per-customer limit, and window
When the toggle is on, the "Multi-slot bookings" section expands:
- 2 Max slots per booking: 2–20, default 6.
- 3 Multi-slot booking limit per customer: how many series one customer can create. Leave it blank for no limit.
- 4 Window (days): the period the limit above is counted over, 1–365 days, default 30 days.
When you're done, click Save changes at the bottom of the page.
Series you create in the dashboard
When you create an appointment and select 2 or more time slots, Dolyu creates them as a series. Each appointment in the series is Pending. Slots that are already taken are skipped, and the rest are created as usual.
Series customers book themselves
When customers select several time slots on the booking page, Dolyu also creates a series. It's subject to the limit you set. Unlike series you create:
- Every slot must still be available. If any one slot is booked by someone else, nothing is created, and the customer needs to choose time slots again.
- One staff member serves the whole series. If the customer selects "No preference", Dolyu assigns a staff member who's free for every slot. If no one is, the customer is asked to choose a staff member or adjust the time slots.
Cancel an entire series
For appointments that belong to a series, the ⋮ menu at the end of the row includes Cancel all slots (Owner and Admins only). It cancels every appointment in the series that can still be canceled.
Click the link icon in the Multi-slot column to open the "Multi-slot appointment" dialog. It lists every appointment in the series. From there, you can also click Cancel all slots, or click Remove from booking to take one appointment out of the series. Removing it doesn't cancel the appointment.
Note
A series only groups several time slots so you can manage them together. There's no session package feature for buying several sessions upfront and deducting one per visit.
How the limit is calculated
Multi-slot booking limit per customer counts the series a customer has created in the last Window (days) days. It's a rolling window, so it doesn't reset each calendar month or week. Series in which every appointment is Canceled or No-show don't count.
Common questions
How do customers get notified about a series?
- Created: one notification for the whole series, listing every slot. When you create a series in the dashboard, turn off Notify customer to skip it.
- Confirmed: if you confirm appointments one at a time, each one gets its own notification. If you check several appointments from the same series in the list and confirm them together, the customer gets a single notification.
- Canceled or rescheduled: each appointment gets its own notification.
Can I cancel one appointment in a series and keep the others?
Yes. Cancel or reschedule that appointment directly. The other appointments in the series aren't affected.
Can I create another series in the dashboard for a customer who has reached their limit?
No. A series you create for a customer in the dashboard counts toward that customer's limit too. Only appointments without a customer are exempt from the limit.
