Business Hours

Go to Settings → Opening hours to adjust your recurring weekly business hours (this page is for ongoing adjustments after your account is set up, not just the initial setup wizard).

  • You can turn each day on or off individually.
  • Days that are open can have multiple time blocks (for example, split morning/afternoon hours with a lunch break in between). For instance, Wednesday could have "10:00–13:00" and "14:00–21:00" as two separate blocks, and the lunch break in between won't show up as a bookable slot.
  • Time blocks that cross midnight are automatically split and merged for display correctly. For example, for a late-night block that runs until 2:00 AM the next day, the system correctly treats "today 22:00 to tomorrow 2:00" as one continuous open period — customers can still book into the overnight portion normally, without the system mistakenly treating it as "closed" at midnight.

INFO

There's currently no separate setting for public holidays or a store-wide day off on a specific date — this page only supports fixed, recurring weekly hours. If you need to close for a day unexpectedly, you can temporarily turn off "Accept online bookings" (see Booking Rules & Policies) to block new bookings from coming in. If you just want to adjust an individual member's schedule for that day, set time off for that member under Staff Schedules & Hours (with multiple members, you need to set each one individually — there's no one-click store-wide day off).

Time Slot Calculation

The bookable time slots customers see on the booking page are generated by taking the business hours set here and applying the slot interval (10 / 15 / 30 / 60 minutes) from Booking Rules & Policies. In other words:

  • Business hours only decide "what hours you're open," not "how many minutes each slot is" — that's a separate setting.
  • If a day has no business hours set at all (whether the whole day is off, or that time is covered by an overnight block from the previous day), customers will see no bookable slots at all for that day.

Common Questions

Can I open bookings for just part of a single day? Yes, just add the corresponding time block for that day — you don't need to open the whole day.

During the lunch break, do customers see a "closed" message, or does the slot just not appear? Customers only see bookable time slots. The break period simply doesn't appear — there's no special "closed" label shown.

How do I set up hours that cross midnight? Do I set it on "today" or "tomorrow"? Set it on the day the business opens (for example, if you're open Friday evening until Saturday early morning, set it on "Friday"). The system automatically connects the portion that extends into the next day — you don't need to set anything on the next day's row.

If I change my business hours, does it cancel or affect bookings that are already confirmed? No. Business hours only affect the range of time slots customers can choose going forward — it has no retroactive effect on existing bookings.

How do I close for an entire day? Turn off that day's toggle. If it's just a one-off closure and you don't want to change your fixed weekly schedule, it's more convenient to use "Accept online bookings" in Booking Rules & Policies to temporarily block new bookings, then turn it back on afterward.

Troubleshooting

  • Customer says they can't find any time slot on a certain day: Check whether that day's toggle is on and has at least one valid time block, and also check whether the minimum notice setting in Booking Rules & Policies excludes that day from the bookable range.
  • An overnight time block displays incorrectly: Confirm the block is set on the day the business opens, not split into two separate blocks on each day.
  • A break period you wanted still shows up as bookable for customers: Check whether you accidentally merged the two time blocks before and after the lunch break into one continuous block, instead of setting them as two separate blocks.
